Memberships when purchased will clearly show the membership type and start and end date of the membership in the order process.
Memberships can be paid in full at the time of purchase
Some Memberships can be paid for monthly. This will build a payment plan for you. This payment plan will clearly state what is due today and when the payments are due in the future and the amount to be paid on each day and how many payments their are.
This information will be shown in detail on the booking payment page. You will also be emailed it in the booking confirmation.
If you do pay for memberships monthly on a recurring basis. The website will email you 7 days prior to the payment being taken, reminding you that the amount of the payment and the date it will be taken.
On the payment date, your card will requested by the system and Truevo to take a payment of the agreed amount.
You will be send an email confirmation to confirm that payment was taken successfully or unsuccessfully.
If any unsuccessfull payment occurs then your membership will be ended automatically.
If you end your membership that terminates any future payments, but no refund will be given for any time the membership has been in place. You will not be able to resume your membership at a later date.
You can view, cancel your membership from your account area, when you login to the website.
By being a member you can then purchase member only activities on our website or at Lake 86

Microsoft Account System The website uses a Microsoft Account system in the website, to hold the accounts. This system is used is very robust/secure and is used in many websites. Encryption/Decryption We also encrypt/decrypt alot of your account data on the fly. Site Certificate Our site runs completely over https, which opens a secure encrypted web tunnel from your web browser to our server. The requests and responsese from the website are then transmitted over this tunnel. Post code lookup We use an address lookup system called GetAddress.IO we pass in a post code and it returns all addresses in that postcode. This saves time on you typing information in. Forgotten password If you forget your password, then you can go through the forgotten password process when you click login. Risk Acknowledgment Waivers are linked to your account. Anyone who is taking part in any activity must have a Risk Acknowledgment. You can create a Rick Acknowledgment for you and your dependents. Depending upon the type of acitivity, the Risk Acknowledgement may just be for the account holder. You can create Risk Acknowlegments at any time. Risk Acknowledgments are valid for 12 months and we can search in our system for you and your dependents, to manage your booking. Plus any treatment/action required at the time of the accident. How Long do we Keep the Data for? Lake 86 keeps the account data forever so you can continue to book. However we do anonymise the data as per below:- Bookings we will remove the booking from your account after 22 years and associate it with an anonymous user. So that we can’t trace the booking back to you. Bookings contain waivers. These waivers will be associated with an Anonymous waiver after 22 years. Risk Acknowledgments will expire for use after 12 months. At this point you can create a new one. In GDPR however you do have rights as an individual that overrule the above. These are outlined below:- Accessing your data We recognise our responsibility in looking after your data. You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold, have it corrected, sent to a third party or deleted (subject to our need to hold data for legal reasons). We manage this process by executing a Data Subject Access Request procedures in line with GDPR requirements when you contact us. You can request a Data Subject Access Request Form by contacting us via our website our email. We will respond within 30 calendar days of receipt of this DSAR. We also reserve the right to increase the response time to three months if we consider the request to be complex and time consuming.
